Club welcome special guest!

Every Sunday morning, the Oxford City Football Casuals (the club's PAN-disability team) hold their weekly session, engaging in training, drills, matches and preparing for tournaments.

OCFC’s Casuals stands as a testament to the power of football bringing people together regardless of their abilities.

This previous Sunday, Casual’s welcomed England star Harry Baker, a shining example of determination and talent.

As a loved team member of England's Cerebral Palsy team, Harry's journey from grassroots football to international representation is nothing short of remarkable.

His story is inspiring to athletes everywhere, so Baker was a great addition to Sunday’s session.

From his early beginnings at the age of twelve, Harry’s talent propelled him into England’s Under-21 development team by the age of fifteen.

After an injury to first-team player, Baker was called up to the senior squad at the age of sixteen.

Since then, his contributions to England’s CP team have been overwhelming with Harry winning 49 caps for England so far during his career.

Harry's involvement in the session proved the importance of creating an environment where everyone feels valued and included.

Harry took part in the training session with the players and his presence on the pitch not only inspired the team, but also reminded them of the limitless possibilities that arise when individuals of all abilities come together to share their passion for the game.

His participation served as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusivity in sports and the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities.

Here at Oxford City FC we endure the spirit of inclusivity in sports. If you or someone you know are interested in joining our Casual’s sessions- click HERE.
