FIXTURES RELEASE DAY TOMORROW

Andrew Gate • July 4, 2023

The Hoops will find out their 2023/24 Vanarama National League South schedule tomorrow at 1pm (Wednesday 5th July).

All 46 league matches will be revealed, starting with the opening round of fixtures which are set to take place on Saturday 5th August.

Our very first season in the fifth tier will no doubt be exciting with a host of new (and old) teams to face off against!

The Hoops are one of five new teams in the division, joining the likes of Rochdale & Hartlepool United who were relegated from League Two, and Ebbsfleet United, AFC Fylde & Ebbsfleet United who were all promoted from step two.

City will play against SIX teams they have never played before. Rochdale, Gateshead, Hartlepool United, Chesterfield, York City & Oldham Athletic will all be new opponents for Ross Jenkins' side.

The Hoops' shortest trip of the season will be against Maidenhead United, but rather unsurprisingly the longest will be a 254 mile journey to Gateshead.

After promotion, City will also receive a by through to the fourth (and final) qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup, which is set to take place between Saturday 14th October and Sunday 15th October.

The Hoops will also enter the Isuzu FA Trophy at the third round stage.

Keep an eye on our website and social media channels at 1pm tomorrow to find out our schedule.
