George joined the Hoops in the summer after leaving West Bromwich Albion and had a stellar season at the Velocity Stadium, making forty-two appearances and scoring six goals as he became a fan favourite in Oxford.

Harmon also won the club’s Supporters’ Player of the Season award to cap off a memorable first season in senior football. 

After his departure, George wanted to pass on the following message to City supporters: "I want to say a massive thank you to the players, coaches and all the staff around the club for an unforgettable season last year both on and off the pitch.

"A special mention goes to the fans who have made me feel so welcome from the first day I stepped foot through the doors and have followed us around the country.

"Oxford City is a special club and I will always have fond memories of my season here and I hope that the club can finish what they started and get promoted next season."

George leaves with our very best wishes and we wish him the best of luck in the SPFL and thank him for his performances throughout his spell with us.
