Women's captain Tayman relishing cup contest.

Oxford City captain Georgina Tayman is relishing Sunday's Women's FA Cup tie with Ebbsfleet United.

The City captain missed Sunday's 4-0 victory over Winchester Flyers but is back for Sunday's crunch tie.

M&M Waste Solutions have funded a supporter's coach to Ebbsfleet for the Women's FA Cup Third Qualifying Round and Tayman admits that she's excited and raring to go in the cup!

"It’s definitely a different game to what we’re used to playing, as we haven't played them before." said Tayman.

"We’re going to sit down as a team and try to make it as easy as possible for ourselves, but ultimately we have to stick to our core.

"We have to get the basics right and hopefully that’s what will get us through.’

‘We take part in training and analysis sessions throughout the week and hopefully we should be all fresh for Sunday- I’m excited!’

This season has brought with it a new Management team lead by Luke Hanshaw after Aliyah Anthony's promotion to Head of Female Football.

Sometimes after a big change behind the scenes it can take teams a while to adjust. However, Tayman says that the group is stronger than ever going into the weekend's tie.

"The squad is completely different" she said.

"Year on year teams change with new people and new dynamics, but this year we have a great group of girls and work really well together.

"We’ve just got to keep working well together and bring it in to training, bring it into games and we can’t really go wrong.’ Georgina added.

Support over the last year particularly has grown for the club with attendances rising.

Furthermore (as mentioned before) a supporter’s bus has been organised for the upcoming FA Cup game against Ebbsfleet United by our Women's pathway sponsors M&M Waste Solutions.

'I’ve been playing a while now and the growing support is overwhelming.

'We've got our sponsors M&M who have been incredible in helping us fund kits and the fans bus to Ebbsfleet, the backing we've got is incredible and I just want to say thank you to everyone for supporting us!"
