Oxford City would like to thank everyone who came along and made our Hoops Tournament such a success this weekend.
Hundreds of young footballers came along to Court Place Farm to participate in two days of small-sided football on Saturday and Sunday with parents and family coming along to ensure that well over 1,000 people came to visit.
Joey Aust who organised the event for the club told us: “It was great to see so many smiles, not just from the winning teams but also from people on the sidelines.
"There was some excellent football in all of the age groups and right now we are in the busiest period of the year for us. We had the BOBi tournament last week, we have the JPL one next weekend and then the Girls tournament the week after.
“As a club we talk a lot about being at the heart of the community but over the next few weeks we will have had close to a thousand footballers here and that’s something we are rightly proud of.
“It’s a lot of hard work and the staff are here from early in the morning to late in the evening each day, as are the officials so we thank them for that hard work and look forward to seeing everyone taking part in the JPL games this coming weekend.”
