A 6ft 3in central defender, Siddik is a product of Crystal Palace’s famed academy. 

He was highly-rated in South London, and went on to feature with the first-team during pre-season and played in games against Liverpool and Manchester United.  

He made his full debut for Palace in the EFL Trophy, appearing against Swindon Town.

 He has also represented his country Iraq at U23 level. His spell at Selhurst Park was cut short due to injury and he joined National League North side Darlington last season after a short spell out of the game. 

Now, after impressing on trial during pre-season, he’ll look to rebuild his career with Oxford City.
