Joe Iaciofano set City well on their way with two goals in the first seven minutes of the match. Whereas two late goals from Jacob Bancroft and Lewis Coyle put the icing on the cake on a dominant performance.
The Hoops got off to a flying start just 4 minutes in, with inform striker Iaciofano battling tenaciously to break through the Tudors defence. He could’ve gone to ground multiple times after being tugged back by the Tudors defence but he emerged in front of the Hemel goal and lifted the ball into the far corner of the net to open the scoring. 0-1
Only 3 minutes later Iaciofano would double his tally for the afternoon following some great link up play down the right wing with Nana Owusu. The winger then delivered a precise ball into the box to pick out the red-hot striker. Iaciofano did the rest, with a tidy low finish into the bottom left corner to make it 5 goals in 4 league games for him. 0-2
In the 24th minute Hemel Hempstead’s Chris Paul went on a determined run before unleashing a fierce half volley goal-bound. Dan Matsuzaka had other ideas though, as the City defender threw himself at the ball to send it over Dudzinski’s crossbar and behind for a corner.
Only 5 minutes later City would come back with another chance of their own when Nana Owusu found Josh Ashby on the edge of the box. However, his strike dipped and cannoned off the top of the crossbar with the keeper all but beaten.
City thought they’d extended their lead at Vauxhall Road in the 34th minute as McEachran and Ashby combined at a short corner and worked the ball into the box with some neat interplay. McEachran then released a shot which Hayes spilled into the path of Elliot Benyon who tapped home. However, the referee’s assistant had his flag up for offside.
Just before the break the final chance of the half would fall City’s way. George Harmon burst into the box and looked certain to score but a superb block from Kpekawa denied the full-back.

On the hour mark Iaciofano had a glorious opportunity to bag his first City hat-trick after McEachran clipped a ball back from the byline into the feet of the Hoops’ number 15. Iaciofano struck a half volley, but Hayes denied the striker with an outstretched leg.
In the 82nd minute a lofted through ball found Bancroft in acres of space. His first touch allowed him to show off his pace and bear down on the Hemel goal. His strike from an angle cleared the crossbar to keep the score at only 2 for City.
Jacob Bancroft sealed the victory and 3 points in the 87th minute. Lewis Coyle slipped the substitute in behind and the attacker let the ball run and used his electrifying pace to put him face to face with Hayes. Bancroft finished coolly into the top right hand corner in composed fashion. 0-3
In the closing minutes of the match Hinds produced a fine curling effort into the goal, and the home fans were celebrating a consolation goal, but the linesman put an end to those celebrations quickly as the Hemel front man was deemed offside.
In the 93rd minute bancroft once again broke through and cut a pass back to the man who assisted his earlier goal; Lewis Coyle. The attacking midfielder swept a left footed shot past Hayes to make it 4 for the Hoops. 0-4
