Oxford City Business Tournament a success

Thank you to all the businesses that took part in our football tournament.

Oxford City Football Club recently hosted a business football tournament, a fulfilling event that saw local businesses around Oxford come together for a day of camaraderie, competition, and community spirit.

The participating teams included a diverse array of Oxford based businesses: AJB Group, Levo, BAMD Composites, Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford, Graf UK Ltd, Frilford Heath Golf Club, Ignite Training, Velocity, Royal Cars, Ecology by Design, Manor Flooring, Silent View Windows, Fitlife, and Birchlake Recruitment.

The tournament kicked off with great enthusiasm as each team took to the pitch, showcasing not only their football skills but also their sportsmanship and teamwork.

The tournament was filled with memorable moments that highlighted the competitive yet friendly spirit of the participants.

Beyond the excitement on the pitch, the event served as a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to connect and build relationships in a relaxed and enjoyable setting (and great food with our brilliant barbeque).

The atmosphere was filled with positivity and mutual respect, emphasising the importance of community and collaboration in the business world.

The enthusiasm and spirit throughout the afternoon were instrumental in making the tournament a success.

We’d like to say an extra special congratulations to Leisure Focus Trust, who ended up as the evening’s champions.

Commiserations to FitLife who were the beaten finalists and also Royal Cars & AJB Treecare who made it to the Semi-Final Stage.

The business football tournament at Oxford City Football Club was more than just a day of sport; it was a celebration of local support, community, and the shared love for football.

Thank you again to all the local businesses who participated, we look forward to many more events in the future, where businesses can come together, compete, and celebrate in the true spirit of community.
