Adam Kirton, Assistant Director of Workforce – Pay, Policy & Reward said:
“It’s great that we’ve been able to extend our collaboration with OCFC to offer our hard-working NHS staff the chance to watch a match for free at Marsh Lane.
"Local partnerships like we have with Oxford City are really valuable for the hospital, and we hope that the added boost of NHS colleagues in the crowd will spur the team on!”
Emergency Services Day, or 999 Day as it’s commonly known is a national day across the UK for people to show their support to the heroic men and women of the NHS and emergency services. The day is supported by HM The King, HRH The Prince of Wales, the Prime Minister and First Ministers of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
It aims promotes the work of the emergency services, promote using the emergency services responsibly, educate the public about basic lifesaving skills, and promote the many career and volunteering opportunities available.
Since the pandemic, the club have offered blue light/key workers discounts on tickets for OCFC home fixtures, and we're delighted to offer the opportunity for more staff to experience a match day at the RAW Charging Stadium.
If you're coming to the match on Saturday, make sure you say hello to the team and find out more about the great work they do in our community!
