Oxley visits Oxford City FC ahead of OxTrail

Club welcome special guest!

Oxford City FC were thrilled to welcome a very special visitor to the club on Friday.

'Oxley' from Sobell House Hospice made the trip to the RAW Charging Stadium, ahead of the charity's OxTrail campaign in the summer.

The club are both proud and delighted to support the campaign as sponsors.

Through its sponsorship, City are supporting the Oxfordshire hospice charity and backing an event that will bring the community together and encourage tourism in Oxford.

OxTrail will launch to the public on 6 July 2024 and the art will be on display until the end of August 2024. After this, sculptures (like Oxley below) will be auctioned off to raise money for the hospice.

Our designed ox will be kept under wraps until the launch of the trail in July next year (but we can't wait to share our unique Ox with everyone!).

For more information on OxTrail or to involve your business contact oxtrail@sobellhospice.org.

OxTrail is being held in partnership with Wild in Art. Cities across the world have famously brought their streets to life through Wild in Art installations including Manchester, Sydney, Cape Town and São Paulo.

We'll be bringing you more information about our involvement with this fantastic project as the year progresses!
