Ross Jenkins has said that he'll be fielding a mixed team of players for Oxford City's Oxfordshire Senior Cup Quarter-Final tie with Adderbury Park (Tuesday 30th January, 7:45pm KO).
The Oxfordshire Senior League side overcame Launton Sports in the previous round to get to this stage, and now they'll take on the Hoops who sit several divisions above them (Oxford City - Step 1, Adderbury Park - Step
The squad for the tie will contain players from both the first-team set-up & the club's Development Team, giving both youngsters a chance to impress in front of the fans and a number of senior players a chance to gain important minutes.
Speaking ahead of the game, Ross Jenkins said; "It's a good chance for our young lads to show what they're about.
"It's important that we focus on the task at hand.
"Adderbury have done well to get to this stage of the competition, so they deserve a lot of credit for that.
"It's going to be a competitive, so we need to prepare properly for the tie. Like I say, it's a good chance for our young lads to step up and impress, after a solid start to their campaign in the Hellenic League (Division 2)."
The winners of the tie will face Thame United in the Semi-Final stage of the competition.
Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, with students and anyone under the age of 16 going FREE.
