2022/23 Vanarama National League South Fixtures Revealed

July 6, 2022

With the 2022/23 Vanarama National League South fixtures revealed, Oxford City will begin the campaign with a home game against Eastbourne Borough on the opening weekend.

Ross Jenkins' side will welcome Eastbourne Borough on Saturday 6th August, in a repeat of last season's Play-Off Eliminator before a first away trip the following weekend to St Albans.

A busy August continues as we visit Chippengam Town, followed by clashes with Concord Rangers, Weymouth and Hampton & Richmond to round off the opening month.

New Button

The VNLS has increased in size this season with six new teams joining the division. Of the newly promoted teams, City will first take on Taunton Town on Tuesday 25th October.

A familiar face will also be returning to Oxford when David Oldfield's Weymouth visit the Velocity Stadium on the 28th January and Mark Jones' Hemel Hempstead visit on the 12th November.

The National League will continue throughout the winter, despite the first ever winter Fifa World Cup in Qatar. Over the festive period, we will play Slough Town at the Velocity Stadium on Boxing Day with the reverse fixture taking place at Arbour Park on New Year's Day.

As the season hots up the final day of the season will take place on Saturday 29th April where we conclude the season against Bath City.
