Oxford City are delighted to announce the signing of Alex Fisher on loan from Vanarama National League South side Yeovil Town.
The 6ft 3in striker links up with Ross Jenkins' squad on a one-month loan, and is available for selection in tomorrow's game away at Hartlepool United.
The striker is no stranger to the Hoops after spending a red-hot loan-spell at Court Place Farm back in 2009, where he went on to score twelve goals in sixteen appearances, whilst on loan from Oxford United.
Ross Jenkins said: "Alex is a player with good experience and leadership qualities both on and off the pitch.
"He's a good character and will fit into the squad nicely."
Fisher began his career at Oxford United and went on to enjoy stints in Spain, Belgium, Italy and Scotland. He moved back the the UK and spent time in the Football League with Mansfield Town and Yeovil Town.
He also spent two seasons north of the border in the Scottish Premier League with Inverness Caledonian Thistle & Motherwell, before moving to Huish Park where he was an ever-present in the side.
After Yeovil's relegation, he moved back to the EFL with Exeter City & Newport County, before he returned to Huish Park at the start of the 2022/23 season.
Welcome back to Oxford City, Alex!
