The highly-rated defender was a key cogs in City's squad last season as the Hoops reached the Vanarama National League South Play-Off Semi-Final.
The Oxford United academy graduate signed for the Hoops last season after winning the Scottish League Two title with Queens Park and appeared 29 times for City in the last campaign, scoring twice.
After signing his contract Canice said: "I'm delighted to re-sign and I'm raring to go again."
"Last season we had a great season. With how we did [last season] and the players we've kept hold of this season, I believe we're more than capable to go one-better this season."
