Oxford City FC are delighted to announce the return of Canice Carroll to the club.

Defender Canice was a key player in both our promotion season and then the following season in the National League. This season Canice has been playing at Salisbury but following his release last week Manager Ross Jenkins was quick to bring him home to the MGroup Stadium.

"I know the fans will love seeing Canice come back to the club” Ross told us. “He is a very good defender and a leader who demands the best from those around him. He has been playing regularly so we know he is fit and he will go straight into the squad that travels to King’s Lynn tomorrow.”

Canice told us:

“It’s a club that means a lot to me and as soon as the possibility came up I jumped at the chance. Ross is an excellent Manager and knows my game inside out, so I’m looking forward to working with him and the staff again, and obviously I know a lot of the players already which will help me settle back in.

“There are some big games coming up and I can’t wait to play a part in getting the club back to where they want to be.”
