Laurie Walker Recalled By Solihull Moors
Goalkeeper returns to parent club.
Oxford City can confirm that Goalkeeper Laurie Walker has been recalled by parent club Solihull Moors.
Since re-joining the Hoops on loan from the Vanarama National League side in February, Walker has played a huge role in securing the club's Step 2 status.
Walker kept five clean sheets for the Hoops, including three in our previous five matches to help City climb out of the relegation zone.
Everyone at Oxford City would like to thank Laurie for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him the very best of luck for the future.
Oxford City Manager Ross Jenkins said:
“Laurie has been exceptional since joining the club on loan and has added experience & leadership to the group.
“He’s been a breath of fresh air and although we’re disappointed to lose him, he’s helped us achieve our immediate goal this season.
“Our thanks also go to Solihull for their help in facilitating the move.”
