Lawbox Backs Hoops’ Junior Pathway and Charity In New Community Partnership
Lawbox extend their support.
A city-based law firm which prides itself on humanising legals for businesses has partnered with Oxford City FC in support of the club’s work to transform lives by harnessing the power of sport.
Lawbox has thrown its support behind Hoops’ operation by teaming up with the National League North side, becoming a key partner of its charity The Hoops Foundation and sponsoring the club’s U11s Junior Premier League squad.
The move will assist Hoops’ first-team on a practical level with Lawbox fulfilling various legal requirements for the club while the firm’s Co-Founder Jamie Murray has become Chair of Trustees for The Hoops Foundation.
The charity was founded in February and helps empower people to become the best version of themselves by using sport as a force for positive change by promoting health, opportunities, outreach, participation and support.
Jamie Murray, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lawbox, said: “We’re so pleased to formalise this partnership with Oxford City FC and The Hoops Foundation.
“It represents a reflection of shared values and a mutual love for football, plus a deep belief in the power of sport and its ability to deliver a lasting impact in the community.
“Football holds a tremendous power to bring people together, create new opportunities and provide a platform for young people to develop skills essential across all aspects of life from kindness to teamwork, supporting others and friendship.
“The club’s commitment to unlocking the true potential of every person it engages by promoting inclusion, positive mental wellbeing and opportunity are values which really resonate with ourselves and is why we’re genuinely excited about this collaboration and all it represents.”
