LEWIS COYLE SIGNS NEW DEAL

Oxford City FC is delighted to announce that Lewis Coyle has become the latest player to commit his future to the club.

The versatile midfielder played in almost every game for the Hoops in a stellar season, scoring three goals in 46 appearances.

The winger joined the club in August 2020 from local side Kidlington FC and has been an ever-present in the team since then.

Despite preferring a more attacking role in the team, Coyle was a key-cog in the Hoops' defence this season, slotting into the role of left-wing back seamlessly.

Speaking after signing his new deal with the club, Coyle said: “I'm delighted to have signed another year."

"It was an easy decision to want to stay. It’s a great dressing room on and off the pitch and promotion was what we deserved last season.

"Obviously this year will be a massive challenge, but one I’m excited for.

"As a team, it will be good to test ourselves at the next level and we will do everything we can collectively to be competitive."
