Concord Rangers are the next visitors to the RAW Charging Stadium as we continue our Vanarama National League South campaign.

The 'Beach Boys' have started the season impressively and after Tuesday night's postponement against Chippenham, City will be looking to secure back to back wins in the league.

LAST TIME OUT:

It wasn't exactly a classic on Canvey Island when the two sides met towards the back end of the last season. However, a Joe Iaciofano opener followed by a peach of a free-kick from Josh Ashby sealed the victory.

Temi Babalola pulled one back for the hosts but it wasn't enough as City continued their play-off push.

A disappointing opening day defeat against Eastbourne was put behind them last Saturday as City recorded their first win of the season against St Albans.

After Tuesday's postponed game against Chippenham, City have played one less game than Saturday's opponents but whether the longer wait for the next game has helped or hindered the Hoops remains to be seen.

CONCORD RANGERS:

Form: WWD

Not many people would've tipped Concord to be towards the top of the table at the start of the year but an impressive start means the Beach Boys travel to the RAW Charging Stadium in fifth place.

1-0 wins against Hungerford Town and Taunton Town secured Rangers a 100% record in the first two games before Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Dulwich Hamlet.

Impressive going from Chris Search's team, who (along with Chelmsford who have played a game less) have the best defensive record in the league to date.

ONE TO WATCH: Ricky Modeste

Modeste is an astute signing for anyone at this level. The versatile forward has represented his country Grenada at international level and is continuing to impress in VNLS.

After leaving Tonbridge Angels in the summer, Modeste has started the season excellently. He scored the winner in Rangers' opening day win over Hungerford and an equaliser against Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday.

The forward also knows the division well, winning promotion to the National League with Dover back in 2014, even scoring in the play-off semi-finals. City will have to be at their best to deny the frontman on Saturday.
