Oxford City Women return to league action on Sunday when they welcome Selsey to Court Place Farm in the Southern Region Premier Division (2pm).
The Hoops went out of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last weekend with a 2-1 defeat at home to Woodley but are unbeaten in the league so far and welcome back Emily Harris for the first time this season.
Harris has served a three game suspension after a red card in the final game last season but is back and raring to go as Coach Conor Walton told us: “It’s been a tough lesson for Emily but she’ll be back in the group and we’ll also have Georgina Tayman and Billie Bough French available again after they missed the Woodley game.
“I think you always look for a reaction after a cup defeat and Sunday will be a good test of character for us. The crowds have been excellent this season and there is a great atmosphere building around the Womens team so I hope people come along and support us again.”
Admission is just £3 on Sunday, but Oxford City Men’s Season Ticket holders can watch the game for FREE. Kick off is at 2pm, the bar will be open, there will be food and hit drinks available from the foot hatch and a warm welcome is always guaranteed at Court Place Farm.
