David has spent the last 8 years in the football industry in a variety of roles whilst at Soccerex and TransferRoom, leading the sales department at both companies.
He will now take up a similar role at the Velocity Stadium, managing all aspects of the club’s commercial department whilst continuing to help our fantastic sponsors and partners get the very best from their relationships with the Club.
David said; “I am delighted to be joining Oxford City. The role that the club plays as a community hub and the way that football is used as a driver for social inclusion and change, was one of the key motivations for getting involved.
Clark added. “I have been fortunate enough to already get a sense of the passion that the owners, backroom staff and supporters have for the city, community and club. I know that this passion is shared by the vibrant business community that have been part of the club’s journey so far and I am really looking forward to working with them moving forward.
With supporters returning for the upcoming season and the club well set on the pitch, I feel like I am joining at the most exiting time in the club’s history. I am truly thankful for the opportunity and will give my all to ensure that we level-up off the pitch.”
Financial Director and co-owner Paul Lyon commented; “We’re delighted to welcome David to Oxford City.
“David has a proven track record of managing and developing commercial relationships as well as an extensive knowledge of football business and I know he will help us continue to improve off the pitch.”
Everyone here at Oxford City would like to wish David a very warm welcome to Marsh Lane.
