OXFORD CITY FC JUNIOR & YOUTH AWARDS DAY A HIT!

June 16, 2023

It’s not just been a year to remember for our men’s first team, last Sunday, we hosted our Junior & Youth Awards Day to celebrate some brilliant achievements.

Over 850 of our Junior & Youth Players and their families joined us for an afternoon of celebrating the 2022/23 season.

Fresh from their own successes this season, first team players Alfie Potter, Josh Ashby and Women’s First Manager Aliyah Anthony, volunteered their time to distribute awards to each team’s winners.

Our Director of Football Justin Merritt and Head of Youth Development Jordan Piper, were also present to commemorate all of our squad’s fantastic achievements.

All of our teams, ranging from our Under 6’s to Under 17’s were recognised with awards, to commemorate their fantastic individual seasons.

Everyone at the club enjoyed their day with fun activities on hand for all the family to enjoy. Activities included our giant inflatable dart board, football challenges, face painting, & cricket which all culminated to make a fantastic day for our families in attendance.

Once again, we’d like to thank some of our amazing local suppliers for lending a hand with the day.

Burnout BBQ supplied their top class food offering on the day!

Scoops of Oxford were a hit with their fantastic ice cream on a sunny fun filled afternoon.

Rias Room transformed our marquee with their superb decorations.

Finally, Oxford Discos created the perfect soundtrack for the day.

Next season, you can join in with the fun! We’re currently on the look out for new players for seven new girls teams. Know somebody that may be interested? Find out more by clicking HERE!
