The City legend has been named in Ross Jenkins’ line-up at the RAW Charging Stadium and barring any injury in the warm-up, he will make his 354^th appearance as a Hoop!

The midfielder overtakes Julian Dark’s total of 353 appearances accumulated between 1986 and 2003.

Fleet could well move up the appearance list further if he extends his City stay in the summer.

This latest landmark is another huge achievement in ‘Fleety’s’ superb City career. A career that has seen the captain represent the club on numerous big occasions, including multiple FA Cup shocks and First Round appearances (and not to mention our amazing Play-Off run last season).

However, John Woodley’s record of a phenomenal 917 appearances may be a little too hard to reach!
