Saturday's hosts have struggled in the league this year and are currently searching for a new manager as they bid to stay in the division.
City are in a different predicament as the Hoops look to cement themselves in the play-off places.
With the league positions of the two clubs, some spectators may be expecting a run of the mill win for the Hoops. However, Jenkins insists that that’s not how he and his side see the game and wants his side to build on their previous win against St Albans.
“They don’t have a manager and that’s dangerous, as they’ll come into the game with different tactics and a different way of playing.” Said Jenkins.
“The important thing is that we build from the St Albans game and that good performance and result. We have to go down to Hampton with the same mentality.
“We need to go there and focus on ourselves because when we’ve done that in the past we’ve got good results.
“It’s going to be a difficult game, they’re due a win and their performances have been good but the results have shown otherwise.
“The main thing is that we go there, focus on ourselves and put on a good performance at a difficult ground to go to.
“You’ve got to play with the conditions in mind sometimes, some of the stuff we play at home is brilliant but sometimes you have to look at the pitch and maybe tweak a few things.
“Although we’ve had a lot of draws in recent games, they’re a lot of points that soon add up. Three draws equals three points and those points could be the difference come the end of the season.
“Consistency is key, we’ve consistently performed well, we’re consistently getting points so if we take points away from every game, whether that be one or three.”
