The club has gained affiliation with the Wheelchair Football Association and partnered with the Oxfordshire FA in order to offer sessions to people with physical disabilities.

The sessions are planned to run fortnightly on Sunday’s at The Park Sports Centre in Wheatley (OX33 1QZ), starting on Sunday 19th March.

An inclusive form of football, Powerchair allows anyone to play the beautiful game, regardless of their ability to walk or run using electric wheelchairs, called Powerchairs. The chairs have additional attachments added to the front to enable players to move the ball. The aim is the same as any other football variant; score more goals than the other team.

Powerchair football is open age, meaning that it doesn't matter what your age, gender or ability is, all participants can play & train together.

If you have any questions about our PowerChair sessions, please email events@oxcityfc.co.uk .
