The Stadium

Curzon Ashton play their home games at The Tameside Stadium, which has been the home of The Nash since 2005. The ground has two covered stands and is fully terraced on all four sides


The Tameside Stadium holds a capacity of 4,000 with a maximum 527 seats available. There's a standing capacity of 3,673 with a covered accommodation of 1,100.

Travel - Car

To get to Curzon Ashton from Oxfordshire, it has a predicted time of 3 hours 26 minutes so you can expect around a 3 hour journey. The best way around it is as follows:

  • Get on M40 from North Way/A40 and A34
  • Continue on M40. Take M42, M6 Toll and M6 to A6140 in Audenshaw. Take exit 23 from M60.
  • Continue on A6140 to your destination in Ashton-under-Lyne.



Travel - Train

The Tameside Stadium is 1.1 miles from the nearest train station (Ashton-under-Lyne) and should take you around 25 minutes to walk to the ground.


The journey (if you’re boarding at Oxford) has an expected time of 4 hours and 16 minutes, where you can travel via a cross-country service.

has options which depart Oxford at 12:39, 13:39, 14:39 which would arrive in Ashton-under-Lyne at 16:55, 17:55 and 18:55. Travel consists of 2 changes at Manchester Piccadilly and Stalybridge.


Parking Information

Free car parking is available with six disables spaces. There is also a large 'Over-Spill' car park located on the left at the beginning of the approach road to the stadium.
