Bob was a familiar face at Oxford City games and a much loved figure within the club.
He rarely missed a Hoops game, going to his first match at City's old Whitehouse Ground at the age of three.
Bob went on to serve as Vice Chairman of the club under various chairman and was a key figure in the club's move to Court Place Farm after the club was effectively homeless.
He also oversaw numerous promotions and an FA Vase Final at Wembley in his time as VC, alongside many other triumphs the club has had over the years which, without Bob, may have not been possible.
Without Bob, the club would simply not be where we are today and our thoughts and condolences are with Bob's family, wife Sheila and close friends at this very sad time.
The club will be holding a minute's silence before our first game of the season on Saturday against Eastbourne Borough, where members of Bob's family will be in attendance.
R.I.P Bob.
