Oxford City Women’s captain Georgina Tayman is looking forward to Saturday’s friendly against Thame United Women as part of a festive double-header.

The Hoops’ Women’s side will kick-off one of two matches on the day as we celebrate our festive fixture at the RAW Charging Stadium.

There’s plenty going on at the club for all the family. However, when Luke Hanshaw’s side take to the pitch at 12pm they’ll be looking to entertain the team’s biggest crowd of the season.

That’s a factor that the squad are particularly looking forward to and Tayman has said that Saturday is a great opportunity to showcase what the team are capable of.

“This year has been fantastic,” she said.

“Saturday will be a great opportunity for some of the girls to show up and play our football in front of a bigger crowd.”

“We have developed so much as a squad and secured a great place in the table to finish off 2023.

“We know it’s not over yet, there is still time to improve and bring home more points but I think we are all looking forward to the time off to spend with our family’s and loved ones.”
