The striker spent the 2019-20 season at Clarence Park, finishing as the Vanarama National League South top scorer before the season was curtailed due to the Covid pandemic.

He moved to Havant & Waterlooville before joining the Hoops in 2021 and the striker is looking forward to returning to his former club on Saturday (3PM kick-off).

"It always adds something [returning to a former club] you can’t help that." Joe said. 

"They are a great club and I had a great time there but I’m fully focused on getting the win and a few goals would top it off."

It wasn't an opening day to remember for the Hoops but Iaciofano is determined to put Saturday's result behind him as the team look for a first win of the season.

It’s great knowing the games are in full flow again. Every game at this level is big but I can tell we will be raring to go on Saturday."
