Midfielder makes Bath City switch.

Oxford City Football Club can confirm that Latrell Humphrey-Ewers has today joined Bath City after his current contract expired.

Latrell informed the club that he would not be accepting the offer of a new contract at Oxford City and therefore leaves with everybody’s best wishes.

Since progressing through our youth ranks, local-lad Latrell stepped up to the first-team squad in the 2022/23 season, making his debut at home to Eastbourne Borough.

He quickly endeared himself to supporters with positive displays in the midfield and went on to score his first goal for the club (a thumping volley) away at Dover Athletic.

The midfielder also played a pivotal part in the Promotion Final victory over St Albans City.

Replacing the injured Alfie Potter in the first-half, he went on to assist the fourth goal of the match with an impressive flicked header to tee-up Josh Parker.

Once again he stepped up to the mark in the National League last season with a string of impressive displays, which ultimately won him the club’s young player of the season award for the second year in a row.

He also chipped in with some big goals throughout his time in OX3, most notably a last-minute equaliser away at Eastleigh to complete an impressive comeback.

The midfielder went on to make 45 appearances, scoring four goals during that time.

Latrell leaves with the best wishes of everybody from Oxford City FC.
