However, the Hoops face a tough test against the relegation battling Angels who have produced strong performances in recent weeks and continue their fight to remain in the VNLS.
The Hoops bounce back!
A relentless City claimed all three points in a 2-1 win over Chelmsford City in their last fixture. Goals from Josh Ashby and Zac McEachran's first goal of the season sealed the comeback at the Melbourne Stadium.
The victory pushed the Hoops into the top three of the VNLS, putting the pressure on 4th place Dartford to keep up with City’s strong run of four wins in their last six games.
Taking all three points from the upcoming fixture would see City sit comfortably in the play-off positions.
Tonbridge Angels - An unlikely turnaround
Three wins from five games over the February period has pushed the Angels out of the drop zone and through to the next round of the Kent Senior Cup.
Steve McKimm’s side began the month by convincingly completing the double over VNLS leaders Dorking Wanderers in a 1-3 away victory at Meadowbank.
However, Tonbridge were then hit with two defeats in consecutive weeks against Eastbourne Borough in the VNLS and National League side Bromley, who sent the Angels crashing out in the 5th round of the FA trophy on penalties.
The Angels bounced back the following week, defeating title-chasing Maidstone United in the Kent Senior Cup followed by another victory against Billericay Town. All of which has pushed Tonbridge out of the drop zone and in to 17th,

Ones to watch:
Ewan Clark
In his debut season in blue and white the teenager has broken in and remained a component of the Hoops midfield.
His development at the club has stemmed from playing at U18, U23 and first team level. Of which, he has featured at a CAM, CDM and RWB.
The versatile youngster’s is still searching for his first competitive goal for City but with his ever-growing confidence, it is only a matter of time until he finds the net.
Tommy Wood
Despite the lack of a prolific striker and their current league position, 23-year-old Tommy Wood is close to making it double figures for the season.
The forward secured a brace in their previous fixture which secured his feature in the VNLS team of the week alongside City’s own Zac McEachran.
