The teenage striker steered home from inside the box after Josh Parker’s knock down but the damage was done in the first-half after goals from Dan West’s two free-kicks & Dave Pearce’s lob.
Jefferson Louis added a fourth for the Red Kites after the break.
Ross Jenkins made eleven changes to the side that beat Dover 5-1 in Vanarama National League South. Long-term absentees Tom Harrison & Charlie Rowan started the game whereas Josh Parker returned to the bench. Sixteen year old Charlie Bacon made the bench.
Ten minutes into the game Thame took the lead. A free-kick from Dan West found the corner of the net from 25-yards out.
The United captain wasn't done their either. Fifteen minutes later, West added his and Thame's second of the evening in almost a carbon copy of the first. This time the midfielder picked out the opposite corner of the net to double the lead.
The game was won on the half hour mark, when Dave Pearce's effort floated over Alex Grantham from just outside the area and found the net.
Half-Time: Oxford City 0-3 Thame United
Nevertheless, it was a good experience for the youthful Hoops.
Thame grabbed their fourth of the game on the break after Faris Mohammed's wayward pass was intercepted by the midfield and Louis kept his composure to fire past Grantham at the near post.
However, City did have things to cheer in the game. Josh Parker returned to action after a spell on the sidelines and impressed throughout his return to action, as did U16's striker Charlie Bacon.
The two striker's linked up well for City's consolation goal too. Parker did well to control a ball inside the box and lay it onto a plate for Bacon who steered home for his first senior goal from inside the box.
It wasn't to be for the young Hoops but congratulations to Thame United who secured their ninth OFA Senior Cup title.
