Striker re-called in order to join EFL club.

We can confirm that Striker Olly Sanderson, has returned to parent club Fulham, in order to complete a loan move to EFL League Two side Sutton United.

After helping City win promotion to the National League for the first time last season, Olly joined the Hoops on loan from Fulham for a second time in August, and went on to score nine goals in all competitions.

However, the striker's form has caught the eye of clubs higher up the football pyramid, and now during the January transfer window, Fulham have activated an option to recall the forward.

He has since joined Sutton United on loan for the remainder of the season.

Ross Jenkins said: "Olly has been a real professional since he's been with us, he's been hard-working and had a great attitude.

"Olly contributed to our promotion season and has scored some valuable goals for us this season.

"Hopefully we've played a small part in developing Olly so he can kick on again in the Football League."

We'd like to place on record our sincere thanks to Olly for his efforts in both of his loan spells at the club, and we wish him the very best in his career going forward.

Good luck, Olly!
