Hoops to welcome local families on Sunday.

There’s a big game on Sunday when Oxford City welcome Halifax Town to the RAW Charging Stadium in front of the TV cameras (12.15pm).

City welcome the Shaymen live on TNT in the Vanarama National League  and we are pleased to have young football fans from all across Oxford coming along to support the team and enjoy a great day of live football. 

The club has provided free tickets for all of our school partners in the city of Oxford and we look forward to seeing them all this Sunday. 

Chris Williams, the club’s new General Manager, said 

“The club should be really proud of the work we do with local schools. There are strong connections not just with schools local to us in Marston but also all across our amazing city.  Going to a football match should be something that families can share, knowing that they are going to get a friendly welcome and be made to feel at home. 

“I have been amazed during my short time at the club to see so many schools using the pitches and netball courts. There are things going on here from 8am to 10pm every day of the week and those relationships are so important as we look to move the club forward.”
