After making his 432nd appearance in our 0-0 draw away at Chorley in Vanarama National League North, Reece Fleet has become the club's fifth all-time appearance holder.
As Fleet skippered the side at Chorley, he overtook Ron Goodison's previous record to move into the fifth spot.
An outstanding achievement, Fleet continues to break records season upon season as he closes in on 500 appearances for the Hoops.
Frank Draper's pre-WW1 record of 492 appearances is next in Fleet's sight if he is to move up to 4th place in the list. However, John Woodley's astonishing 917 may be too much of a stretch to overcome.
Nevertheless, Fleet has the title of City's modern-day record holder and with 432 appearances to his name, we're looking forward to many more to come.
Congratulations, Fleety!
