RIP Maurice Hicks

Oxford City FC is saddened to learn of the passing of former player and avid supporter Maurice Hicks, aged 94.

Maurice was a supporter for many seasons, attending games at the Whitehouse Ground, and even as a player with the club in the 1950's.


He continued to support the club at the Velocity Stadium where he was a popular figure at Marsh Lane. He enjoyed 100's of games, including the FA Vase Cup final at Wembley and he will be missed dearly by friends and family.

The family will be holding a wake at 180 Upper Road, Kennington, OX1 5LR.
