The Hoops take on Rovers in the world's oldest domestic cup competition.
We take a closer look at the match and some of the stats & facts ahead of the clash.
Willand Rovers ply their trade in the Southern League Division One South, two division below the Hoops.
Having played in the Western League until 2019/20, they have had five seasons in the Step 4 division, finishing 14th, and 15th twice in the three completed seasons since their promotion.
It’s not the first time Willand have met Step 2 opposition in the FA Cup, a decade ago they welcomed Gosport Borough to Silver Street in the Fourth Qualifying Round, who were 3-1 victors on the day.
This match-up might have happened five years ago during the 2019/20 season.
The First Qualifying Round saw Willand Rovers defeated 2-1 by North Leigh, who were in turn drawn against Oxford City in the Second Qualifying Round, with the Hoops winning 7-0 on their run to the First Round.
While the Hoops enter the competition at this stage, Willand have already played four matches in the competition to this point.
The Devon side entered the competition in the Extra Preliminary Round with a 2-0 win over AFC St Austell, before a replayed tie against Mousehole saw them run out 1-0 winners, before beating Brixham 1-0 in the previous round to set up this weekend’s tie.
Willand will be back in Oxfordshire at Didcot Town later in the season in a league match, but their previous trip to the county in a cup fixture saw them victorious against Wantage Town in the 2021/22 FA Trophy.
