Oxford City Women's season has been superb.
In their two matches played, the Hoops are yet to lose a match after beating Winchester City Flyers on Sunday and drawing away at Sholing on the opening day.
However, now there is another tough task at hand as the team travel to Arbour Park to face league newcomers Reading Women.
Reading's fall from the top echelons of the women's pyramid has been well documented, and financial problems forced the Royals to withdraw from the National League in the summer and the team were placed in the fifth tier alongside the Hoops.
However, they'll be looking to rise back through the divisions quickly, and after their first game ended in defeat last week, Reading will be looking to bounce back in more ways than one.
Connor Walton's side started the season off with a solid 1-1 draw away to Sholing, before picking up their first win of the campaign on Sunday.
A late winner showed the fight that the team have this season, and if they can secure back-to-back wins in the SRWFL, there'll be sitting pretty towards the top of the division.
Reading's first taste of the SRWFL left a lot to be desired. A 3-0 defeat to Sholing wasn't the fightback that the fans were hoping for, but they'll be looking to put that right in their first 'home' match of the season against the Hoops at Arbour Park (Slough).
