On Friday evening we hosted our annual end of season awards evening. Both our Men's & Women's first team squads were in attendance to celebrate the campaign.
Here are this season's winners...
Men's Young Player of the Season
It was another positive season for Humphrey-Ewers who has now won the men's YPOTS award in consecutive seasons.
After progressing through the club's youth academy, Latrell has worked his way into the men's first team and didn't look out of place in his first season in the fifth tier.

Women's Young Player of the Season
It's been another positive season for our Women's team and Georgia Healy has made herself right at home in the first team.
Georgia has been at Oxford City since the age of eight and is an example of the club's impressive pathway through to the first team. She is now one of the first names on the teamsheet after an impressive breakthrough season.

Men's Supporters' Player of the Season
It's been an impressive season for Josh Parker, and his red-hot form up front for Oxford City has earned him the fan's award this year.
Parker has played more minutes than any other player in the Hoops' squad in the campaign, and his fourteen goals in the Vanarama National League make him a worthy winner.

Amber won the Women's vote with over 50% of the vote. This was Amber's second season with the Hoops, and once again she has strengthened the backline in here centre-half position.

Men's Players' Player of the Season
The one that every player wants to win. The players' vote was tight, but once again Josh Parker came out on top after an impressive campaign.
Unfortunately, he wasn't available to collect the award on the evening. However, Ross Jenkins collected the award on his behalf.

Women's Players' Player of the Season
Ellie White won the vote for our women's team.
Ellie (as we've become accustomed to) has had a superb season for City. It almost seemed like every week she was finding her name on the scoresheet.

Club Person of the Year Award
This was a new award for this season, and going forward this will be awarded to someone who has gone above and beyond for the club whilst perhaps going under the radar whilst doing so.
The inaugural award went to our Programme Editor Patrick Lock, who for the past eight years has been helping the club's media team as a volunteer.
This season, he's written, designed and edited our club programme alongside his full-time job. He's gone above and beyond in his role to create a top class programme, and he's a very worthy winner of the first CPOTY award.

Community Player of the Season
Another new award, the Community Player of the Season award will be given to the player who has given the most back to our community via our projects.
The inaugural award went to Zac McEachran, who has played a huge role in helping the club's Alternative Provision college course with Velocity Football.
Goal of the Season
This year's goal of the season vote went down to the wire, but out of the final ten selections (five from the men's team & five from the women's) 'Coyley' won the vote for his strike away at Eastleigh.

Special Award for 400 appearances
The final award of the night went to Reece Fleet. 'Fleety' completed his ninth season at the club in this campaign and surpassed the 400 appearance mark.
He was commended on the evening with a special award to commemorate that fantastic achievment.
Supporter(s) of the Year
It takes dedication to follow your team up and down the country, but Belinda and Mark were at every single Oxford City Men's First Team match in the 23/24 season.
They shared in the joy & pain of every moment in our campaign, and we are proud to offer them a free stay at a hotel with breakfast for any game of their choosing next season.
