David Oldfield "relishing" Ebbsfleet challenge
David Oldfield is relishing Tuesday night's National League South clash with Ebbsfleet but is under no illusions on how tough a task the game will be.
The Hoops are looking to bounce back from the defeat to the FA Trophy defeat to St Albans at the weekend and continue their good league form.
Speaking ahead of the game David Oldfield told us, he's under no illusions as to how difficult Tuesday's game will be to take home three points. “We know how difficult the test and the challenge is in front of us." said Oldfield.
"There are few teams that will be a bigger challenge for us than Ebbsfleet.”
“It’s a big game, the fans have been fantastic for us this season and we’re looking forward to having a good turnout there."
Saturday's defeat in the FA Trophy means that the Hoops can solely focus on league matters and the gaffer has said that it's important to wipe the slate clean and go again!
“We need to make sure we are constructive in how we feel. We must get back to relishing the challenge and opportunity on Tuesday."
"We look forward to seeing as many of you fans here at the game as possible."
Kick-off tonight is at 7:45pm at the Velocity Stadium. You can buy your tickets HERE!
C’mon you Hoops!
