Oxford City will be hoping to make it four wins in four games as Hampton & Richmond visit Oxfordshire.
Wins against St Albans, Concord Rangers and Weymouth stand City in good stead going into the game but Hampton will be no pushovers with the away side hoping for a play-off place themselves.
It was a great away day in London for City as Ross Jenkins' side took all three points home with them.
Elliot Benyon got the ball rolling with a great strike before a Joe Iaciofano penalty made it 2-0 in the second-half. Ben Dudzinski saved a late penalty to stop any hopes of a Hampton come back before Harvey Bradbury sealed the victory with a third.
City have found their feet in Vanarama National League South with three wins in their last three games.
Wins against St Albans, Concord Rangers & Weymouth have catapulted the Hoops up the table with one less game played than their competitors.
With the quick turnaround in games, Ross Jenkins alluded to the fact that he might tinker with his team. However, with City's impressive form, Jenkins will have a tough decision to make ahead of the game.
Hampton's form may not give the full picture of how the Beaver's have been playing lately.
Last time out, a 3-2 defeat to title chasing Havant & Waterlooville was hard to take based on their performance. However, Manager Gary McCann will take solace from his side's 4-1 victory over Tonbridge Angels.
It seems as though there's a lot more to come from this Hampton.
The capture of Tommy Wood from fells VNLS side Tonbridge has been an astute signing for the Beavers. He's already scored three times for the club this season as he looks to better his goal tally of 12 league goals.
The London-born striker started his professional career at Burnley before joining AFC Wimbledon in 2018, and later Tonbridge in 2020.
Wood scored 11 league goals for the Angels in 2022 before missing the last few games of the season.
Speaking ahead of the game, City boss Ross Jenkins spoke about the short turnaround of fixtures and how City have to put their win against Weymouth behind them.
“We have to prepare, we’ve prepared all week and hopefully we can get another good result on Monday.
“It can be tough for the players [the quick turnaround] I think it’s more stressful for the players. They have a big demand to replicate what they did today on Monday but we’re all together and we’ll share the load. If you played today it doesn’t mean you’ll play on Monday but I have full belief whoever plays will do a good job."
